It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the symposium “Where is Nationalism?” Resilience and Pervasiveness of Nationalism in the 21st Century Globalized World. The aim is to bring together scholars who have distinguished themselves through their contribution to the study of nationalism, and ask them fundamental questions about it. In particular, the symposium will tackle the resurgence of nationalism in 21st century, its places, nature, and effects in our societies.
We will have two main sessions through which three established scholars, Prof. Siniša Malešević (University College Dublin), Prof. Jon Fox (University of Bristol), and Prof. Erin Jenne (Central European University, Budapest) and three young researchers, Petra Hamer (PhD candidate, University of Graz), Branimir Stalekovic (PhD candidate, University of Graz), and Dr. Lorenzo Posocco (Visiting Fellow, University of Graz) will explore the theme in a variety of ways.
